Watercolor on cream wove paper, the image extending to the sheet edges. Spot glued in the top left and right sheet corners to the original backing board. Tack holes in the four sheet corners; overall light toning to the sheet and the backing board; water stains in the bottom backing board edge, verso; otherwise in good condition.

An early 20th-century American expressionist work, depicting the first stage of construction of what was to become a renowned New York City landmark. Frederick Dana Marsh was the father of Reginald Marsh.
