A fine, spontaneous work, with fresh colors, on watercolor paper, the image extending to the sheet edges. Original brown paper tape on the four sheet corners, verso; in excellent condition.

A striking rendering of New York's colorful East River tugboats, a favorite subject of Marsh's, with the top of the Brooklyn Bridge appearing above the docks on the left.
