A superb, richly inked impression in dark brown ink with selectively wiped platetone, on thin cream laid Japan paper, with margins (7/8 to 1 3/8 inches). Slight toning in the outter margins, well away from the image, otherwise in excellent condition. A scarce, pencil signed proof impression, before the later unsigned editions on heavy laid paper.
